When you talk about New York sports, there is a lot going on! With more than one team for most every professional league possible, you can only begin to imagine the number of cross-town rivalries that exist.

If you ask any New Yorker what teams they like, it will go something like this… “I’m a Knicks-Rangers-Giants-Yankee Fan” or “I’m an Islander-Mets-Jets-Knicks Fan.” These sports slingshots are their loyal bases for their favorite NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB Teams. Depending on who you’re talking to and what borough they grew up in, the teams can all be interchanged in a New York minute.

No matter which team you follow, there’s a lot of sports happening in NYC on any given day… and the fans are seriously fanatical about them.
